OAU made history at IOLC 2008 where 20 scholars all over the world represented their respective countries and continents. Dr. Adeyemi Adegoju of the Department of English Studies represented OAU, Nigeria and indeed the whole of Africa (being the only African scholar) and emerged as the best paper presenter.
